The new series is now available in the pre-order phase, with the start of shipments scheduled for the beginning of next December, and whose prices start at 3,990 euros for the standard option, noting that the price is 40% cheaper than the XR-3 from three years ago, 9,990 euros for the XR-4 Focal Edition, and 7,990 euros without autofocus and 13,990 euros with autofocus for the XR-4 Secure Edition.
According to Varjo, important companies are already joining as customers for the new XR-4, where the most interesting thing is what they will be able to do use of these devices without the need for subscriptions.
